I am going to assume that the historical uses and stories of the native community will be prominent in the design and interpretive stories told here.

Yes, my Manchester United friend, it will be a big part of the story that is told on the site. I should have included a question for Michelle Delk about this, but they certainly are intending to include the native community's story prominently.

Can't recall who/here the funding for this project is coming from?

Is it city, county, state, federal? All of the above?

I'm curious because that seems to determine who will be signing off
on the design direction, etc. And then there is the overall timeline
to consider.

(Sure hope it's not the city or county that's calling the shots on this one ...)
