I'm not sure I'd include Alvar Aalto in the group of metal and glass worshipping edifice designers, he seemed much more than that.

You guys are right about Aalto. I wrote that review 7 years ago and woulnd't have lumped him in with the others were I writing it today. His work is wonderfully spiritual, of course.
