Stuart Emmons is one of the best things to happen to Portland, Portland just needs to learn that. I was lucky enough to hear a lecture from him last fall and if the city did what he told them to do, this city would function like a well oiled machine and we would be seen as an American city above the rest.

Not many architects dedicate 1/3 of their practice to helping the less fortunate. I have never seen an architect care so much about the interactions of people within a space rather than the look of the building. Everyone thinking of being an architect could learn alot from Emmons.

Stuart should give his talk to the STARCHITECTS like Eiiiii who speak nothing but obscurantism.
